The name of the place is Mayapur and it comes within the district Nadia of West Bengal , India . This is the Birthplace of Gouranga Mahaprabhu who is also identified as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu . In Bengali Culture he is considered as an avatar of Lord Krsna and for the rest of the country, he is a saint and one of the famous personalities of the Bhakti Movement which originated in eighth-century south India (now Tamil Nadu and Kerala) and spread northwards. It swept over east and north India from the 15th century onwards, reaching its zenith between the 15th and 17th century CE.
